Here is part of of the crowd who braved the incredible heat to stay outside and listen the music at the Taste of West Omaha. The blue and white striped tents housed some of the different food vendors who participated.

You are NOT joking when you say braving the heat!!! It was sooo hot and humid at the begining of August!!! We arrived on the 31st of July (late at night) and were shocked by the heat! I have actually been quite thankful for the storms lately! Hopefully where you live hasnt gotten it too bad...we have been without power off and on this week. It is for sure much different here than Germany! But I see myself liking it! :-)
