We need some tropical weather!

Omaha is not what you would call "tropical". We have our really hot and muggy days in the summer, but the majority of the time, "tropical" is what we dream of when vacation comes to mind. This week has been rainy and today is actually pretty chilly, so here's a reminder that summer is really on the way!

Swimming with the sharks....

I've been missing the zoo lately! Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is one of the best zoos I've seen. It has the world's largest indoor rainforest, the Lied Jungle, an amazing Aquarium where you can walk through a 70 ft long tunnel and walk under the sharks (where my photo was taken), and we also have the world's largest Desert Dome. I will definitely be heading to the zoo with my camera soon, and will show off more. Work today, however, felt a little like swimming with sharks, (I love my job, so in a good way), so I chose this for today.
