This is Lake Manawa, another photo from our day at the lake on Sunday. The little girl by the lifeguard stand is a little friend of mine. It was a beautiful day at the lake. We're planning on going pretty much every Sunday during the summer, so I'm excited. Lake Manawa is actually in Iowa, but it's only a 20 minute drive from my house.

No lifeguard on duty....

It is a pretty scene. And you must be most fortunate to have such a lake so close to home.
The second episode of the robins is on the blog today. The mother's head is down the baby's throat.
For a minute, I was wondering how a beach got into Nebraska. Looks like a nice size lake with a few waves even. Lucky you!
Thanks everyone! It is a beautiful lake! The waves are good enough for water-skiing and waverunners, and there were a ton of boats out on the lake. We actually do have a similar lake area in Nebraska, near Fremont. Both are within short driving distance, but Manawa is a little closer.
